There are a variety of things to do on your vacation at Dewey Beach. We have provided some area links and other recreational activities.
Dewey boasts many fine dining establishments as well as places for quicker food fare and a lively nightlife. Rehoboth Beach, another popular seaside resort a few miles to the north, boasts many wonderful restaurants and night spots, including theatre and comedy shows.
For those who love water activities, Dewey offers swimming, sailing, parasailing, sail boarding, wave runners, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, skim boarding, fishing (including deep-sea fishing excursions), crabbing and clamming. There are several local gyms including a YMCA with a swimming pool and basketball court.
Bikes are available for rent in town. Several golf courses and miniature golf are within a few miles. And there’s always kite flying and jogging.
You can even have an old-time photo taken of your family or group of friends dressed in a variety of unusual outfits right in town.
If you love shopping, Delaware is the capital of tax-free shopping and there are three major Tanger Outlet malls 2-3 miles north of Dewey.
